Is there any way to limit the silly file sizes generated on conversion from .dwg files?
Yesterday, I received a 456KB file from a client, showing a small section of an airport. On conversion to Vectorworks 2013, the file equivalent was 112MB.
This is absolutely ridiculous, and made the file too unwieldy to use. Not surprisingly, my client is telling me to use Autocad.
Is there anything that can be done in the conversion process to prevent this?
