Cut and fill <solid error>

Hi all,

I had a look through the forums and although there was alot of detail about site models and cut and fill calculations, I just can't seem to get mine to work.

Here is what I have done:

1) Import initial survey data (3D loci) and created a site model with a boundary

2) Imported new survey data (after soil removed from the site) and set these to the site-dtm-modifier class and set them to be included as modifiers in the model.

3) Take the boundary, duplicate it and set it to the site-dtm-modifier class also.

4) Update my model, and I get both proposed and existing contours. However when I turn on cut and fill calculations I get

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Or can anyone give me some advice as to how to get around this. Thanks,

Just an update, if I use the site modifier tool (Bulldozer?) to create a fence and group it with the "modifier" data points, and give no boundary to the initial survey I get a cut value of 0.0000.

In haste... training today... but you should only need one boundary... More later.

I get exactly the same thing.

Using Vectorworks 2008.

Been pulling my hair out with this issue.
