STIXBUILT
WHEN I EXTRUDE ALONG A PATH, THE OBJECT I AM EXTRUDING ALWAYS CENTERS ON THE PATH. HOW CAN I GET MY EXTRUDED OBJECT TO OFFSET TO ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER OF MY PATH LINE? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Double click on your Extruded Along Path object and choose to Edit the Profile. You will be able to relocate the profile to where you eant it in relation to the Path - this is at the intersection of the two dotted lines. Quote Link to comment

mike m oz
Stixbuilt: - Draw your path and your object and Extrude Along Path. - Select the resulting object. - Either Double click on it or Select Edit Group on the Modify menu (Organise menu in earlier versions) or Right Click on it and choose Edit from the Contextual Menu. - In the dialog box which opens up you can choose to either edit the path or the profile. - select profile and move it to where you want it to be in relation to the path origin (intersection of the dotted lines). You can also Reshape the Path using the 3D Reshape Too [ 01-30-2006, 11:28 AM: Message edited by: mike m oz ] Quote Link to comment
