archdaly
Hi, This is my first post. While I'm fairly familiar with VW (currently running VW 2011 on mac) I'm not as versed with the vectorscript options. The last firm that I was with had set up a customized tool (as far as I know there isn't a built-in feature for this) that linked line-weights with colours. The list then showed up in it's own separate tool window. Has anyone run a script like this who'd be able to walk me through the process step-by-step? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Miguel Barrera
You probably want to emulate the AutoCad environment but in VW you link line weights with colors and other attributes by creating classes and assigning these to objects. The tool used in your last job probably was simply the class list or the attribute palette, which is part of the VW workflow and has been since the beginning, I think. Quote Link to comment
archdaly
Hi, Thanks for your reply. I realize that you can link lineweights and classes but this tool was much simpler (avoiding multiple classes for drawing simple assemblies etc) I'll do some further research and if I find anything I'll be sure to post!
