For instance, a really bothersome example is an audio box with a dispersion area turned on and in an invisible Class. The box is 24"x12"x12" and the dispersion area is 100'x150'x50', but classed conveniently so that it can be toggled on/off. (thanks Andrew). Now I make a symbol of the box and the preview image in the Resource Browser is absolutely useless. This goes for other objects also.
