Forget to tab issue...

Hello again... I am having an issue. Sometimes i foget to hit the tab key so that i can enter a length that i want a line, or wall to be. I am using the number key pad. When i forget to tab over, and i start typing a length, depending on the number i hit first it will switch to an isometric view, or a side view. When I switch back to the plan view to continue, and tab over to enter a distance, it won't change, and after i hit enter i don't get the red dashed circle showing the distance.

how do i fix this?

What version of VW are you using, Knobb? It works the way it should in 2011, i.e. I can still tab over even after using a number key to change the view.

I am using 2012 sp4, mac os10.

Hello,

You could change your settings so your numeric pad enters numbers without tabbing

On the right hand side of the tool bar where your quick preferences are kept there is a little cog symbol click this and choose 'Allow Numeric Keypad Entry For Instant Data Bar Activation'

You can still use your keypad for views but whenever you draw anything it will enter values instead
