L+K Posted June 13, 2002 Share Posted June 13, 2002 We often get an error message reading: Open DWG Library Error 5, the file appears to be damged or incomplete. Is there something we can inform the sender they need to do when saving their file so we will be able to open the file the first time it is sent. Thanks. Quote Link to comment

Guest Posted June 14, 2002 Share Posted June 14, 2002 An error 5 is generally an error resulting in not being able to recognize the file type. Please make sure it is a Dxf or Dwg file. The file may have been stuffed or zipped before sending to you. Please make sure you have completely unstuffed or unzipped the file so that is is a dwg or dxf file. Quote Link to comment
