UPDATING PLANT DATABASE Please Help.

I have an XLS file of our local nursery suppliers catalogue with prices. I have tried to find a way of importing the prices into my VW Plant Database, without having to manually edit the Plant Info price field.

If anyone could provide some advice on how to do this, would be much appreciated. In fact any general advice not already listed in the VW Help (as this doesn't provide much info on this) with regards to the VW Landmark Plant Database, that would be great.

If you look inside the Plant Database itself ? I do not think there is a field available for Price

Edit a Plant in VW itself ? place a plant right click Edit Definition ? you have Tabs across the top

The Data from the Plant Database populates the Plant Data Tab

The Price field in this dialogue is in the Definition Tab

The way you could get price data into a Worksheet maybe use one of the Comments fields in the Plant Database itself and map the price info from your Excel file into that field by importing the data into the Plant Database

Plant data and plant price would have to line up though

Yes it should import into the Price field. You are importing to the VW plant database? If you are, then line up your price column with VW Price.
