Shawncfer
Hey guys! I'm new to Vectorworks but I've been able to teach myself a lot lately by just working with it. For my class, I had to create a light plot not to long ago. I created it and everything with no problems. Well, I want to take the tittle block I used, and save it, so I can use it on future plots in different theaters. It has it's own layer if that makes a difference at all. Is there a way I can save that tittle block somewhere that it can permanently be used from now on? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
1. Make it into a symbol. 2. Create and save a new VW file somewhere (anywhere except the VW applications folder). Name it something like MyLibrary. 3. the Resource Browser click on the top triangle pull down menu thingie (technical term) [it is across from Files] and choose Add Current File as Favorite. 4. Close the MyLibrary file. 5. Go back to the first file and choose the title block symbol in the Resource Browser. Right Click on it and choose Export from the contextual menu. Choose MyLibrary as the file to export to. 6. You should be able to see MyLibrary in the Resource Browser at all times. Click on it in the top pane and you should see your title block symbol. Drag it into any file you want. Quote Link to comment
