Speedy Gonzales
Similar to, but better than the Archstyl font in the Windows world, is the Postscript font Graphite, available in various widths (regular, condensed, etc.) My suggestion is to stick with regular. Works with OS X and Windows. Available online for a download. Prices vary depending on number of fonts you want and how many licenses you need. Look for it at fontbureau.com. They bailed me out when I found that I could no longer use my multiple master version of that font on OS X. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
I haven't tried it yet, but according to this Apple Technote (http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2024.html) Mac OS X can read windows fonts. It looks like you may be able to use Archstyl itself. Even if that doesn't work, there is always http://www.fontlab.com/html/transtype.html.
