Object Info

We have a new problem here. Our Object Info-, from our palette pull down has disappeared. In the palette pull down it is there and with a check next to it. But it is actually not there. We've also gone into preferences and every thing seems to be fine there too.

If we open a different workspace it is fine.

It is possible to place the Object Info and other pallets either off screen or very close to the edge of the screen.

As a fail-safe, you can always reinstall VectorWorks to replace the workspace, but you may want to adjust your screen size first. In MacOS 8-9 you do this in the Monitors control panel, in OS X it is the Displays section of the System Preferences, on Windows you should look for the settings tab in the Display control panel.

Try to make your screen use a higher resolution and see if you can catch the pallet and pull it back towards the middle of the screen.

If you can't set the resolution higher, set it lower and then back again. Setting it lower will have the effect of draging everything near the edge of the screen toward the center. You will need to be running VW at the time you do this, or launch it when the screen is in the lower resolution state.
