jupiter Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 We are trying to set up a workgroup of drawings for a large project. Some references were set up - we then tried to update a symbol by dragging from the resource browser - but the message said the symbol was referenced and could not be updated...so we removed all the references, but there is still the same issue! The symbol we want to update is locked and cannot be edited (even now that there is no drawing referenced into the file) and the symbol will not update by dragging the updated version from the resource browser of the 2nd file! V. Frustrating.We would like to get to the bottom of it before we go further along, so if anyone has any thoughts we would appreciate it! Thanks Quote Link to comment
