Scaling in vectorworks

Hi, I have been sent a drawing by a client of a client. The drawing is a play park with the border supposedly 32000mm x 18000mm.

When I measure this in vectorworks it's coming out at 800mm x 500mm, how do I up scale this to get to my correct measurements. I come from AutoCAD so I'm learning on the job.

Modify menu>Scale Objects...

I believe it was still there in VW 2008.

Hi again and to down scale do I not just stick a minus symbol in front, as this is not working?

Use decimals, like .5 to scale down by half.

I would also try the scale by obeject length option. If one side of the property is a known dimension, but measures something else on your map, this option allows you to convert directly without guessing at decimal percentages.

I think that was there in 2008, but it might have been added in 2009.
