Sandes
Hi, this is my first post. I am using the one month demo and I am a total beginner. A simple question I couldn't find in any posts. Is there an erasure tool or similar. I can't find any such tool in the tool set or help section. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
What do you want to use it for? If you are trying to delete objects, select them then hit delete. Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Maybe he's looking for a tool that automatically cues "A Little Respect" or "Chains of Love" from iTunes when selected...;-o Sorry, I couldn't resist... ;-) Quote Link to comment
Sandes
I am just used to Sketch Up and the erasure tool. I couldn't find any delete option with the left mouth click. Hence the head scratching. I never thought to actually hit the delete on the actual key board. Such common sense. Another question, is there an off-set measurement tool like the sketch-up tape measure in ctrl setting? Some way to create grid or reference lines to lay out objects before drawing a line. Thanks. VincentCuclair
There is a tape measure tool, there is an advanced tape measure tool plug-in (Vectorbits I think), you can set a grid and secondary grid which can be snapped to in the preferences. Otherwise just create your own guidelines that lie in their own layer or class that subsequently can be turned off....... ....there is a trim tool (as opposed to erase tool) which can be used to trim/cut/erase bits or whole lines/objects in different ways......
