funky active window?

Recommended Posts

ugh well after *finally* figuring out that the wrong ver. of quicktime was preventing vectorworks from starting, when it DID start, i got a funky looking window:

24v30jp.jpg

basically I can't work like this because that "ghost" workspace hovering above the program makes it impossible to see anything or work...

anyone know what the problem is?

i run windows vista x64 on a sony vaio...

(ugh why does vectorworks hate me so much... i never had these problems with autocad...)

What version of VW are you using?

I do not know about VW 2010 but earlier releases I think were best to use the versions of QT they shipped with

maybe help to create a signature - My Stuff up the top

other problems though?

i uninstalled the QT on my computer and reinstalled with the VW supplied one, that let me actually start the problem, but this is VW 2010 and iono why it looks all funky like that...

should i change my screen resolution? it's at 1280 x 800 atm

Screen resolution would not help.

Have you updated you video drivers to the latest version?

As Ozzie said, it would help us if you would create a signature with your version of Vectorworks and computer specs including video card and video driver version. Click on the My Stuff link at the top, Edit Profile.
