Josh NZ
If I save a VW file at say 11.00am then hover over the file it says it was saved at 2.00pm, this is causing my backup sync some problems. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have check the Dates and Time son the PC and they are correct. I also use the "Vectorworks log", the dates and times in here are correct. Ray Libby
I just checked this saving to my local drive and mine is correct. This is the first I have heard of this happening. Are you saving to a server? Have you checked other programs? I did a search on google and there seems to be others with the problem, not sure if it's the same circumstance as yours: http://www.google.com/search?q=windows+xp+file+time+wrong&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Quote Link to comment
brudgers
What time are you checking the file, before or after 2:00? Do you have autosave turned on? Is it set to "overwrite" the original file? Quote Link to comment
Josh NZ
Yes I am saving to a server but also get same result when saving straight to my machine, have just tried installing and testing on a few other machines and all get the same result, all exactly 2 hours and 52 minutes apart. For exmaple I just saved now at 4:26pm and when I hover over it says it was saved at 7:18pm. I manually perform saves and have the backups set to automatic without prompt. The backups are set to keep the last 20 then overwrite. Only get this problem with VW all other programs seem to be saving fine. Edited January 12, 2010 by Creative Space NZ Quote Link to comment
Josh NZ
It appears that the save times are only effected once saved or copied to the server which is running "Linux" could this be the problem? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Did you check to see if the server has the correct time zone? Quote Link to comment
