alfresco
Can I delete a default symbol such as a custom title block from the Libraires\Default\Drawing Border-Title Block folder? I cannot delete obsolete Title block symbols? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
The TitleBlock is a PIO .. what you probably desire is to delete the data which is contained in the Fields of the Records in the Block. You can reuse the same TB or create new ones as required. The TB resides within the document. Check the ResourceBrowser for TitleBlock Records and Drawing Border Components Quote Link to comment
alfresco
Thank yo very much for response. I am not sure what you mean by PIO? I have been able to edit TB's as required. However, I have several versions under My Custom Title Block symbos folder which is complicating the issue. In the past I had several temporary versions used for different purposes. I now have a version which I prefer and would like to delete versions which have errors of are no longer of any use to me. Can the old TB defaults be deleted? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
PIO = Plug In Object = Parametric Object = allows data entry via the Obj Info Palette. I really can't comment on whether or not you should delete any of your working files or directories. Quote Link to comment

Ray Libby
Just add a new extension to the files like ".old" and they won't show on the list. It would help to know your version of Vectorworks and computer specs including OS. Create a signature with the info. Quote Link to comment
