visard
I'm working with wood casework and find that when viewed in plan the extruded objects become transparent but if rendered show as solid - any suggestions as to how to show as solid in all conditions? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
In plan view 3D objects are wire frame. If you need an object to be solid in plan view, draw a 2D object to represent the 3D object on top, select both and create a symbol. This will now be a hybrid symbol that displays your 2D object when in plan and the 3D object when in a 3D view. Quote Link to comment
GWS
there is also a difference between Top/Plan view and Top view. If you switch to Top view from another rendered view you should stay in a rendered mode. If you switch to Top/Plan view then you will get a wireframe mode. Quote Link to comment
