cameleyes
Hi, I'm sure this is quite a simple issue for anyone with experience but I have a room plan with a pair of doors inserted correctly with wall breaks. I recall seeing the doors in the open position but now somehow they have changed to closed. Do you know how I can open them again? Thanks. Matt Quote Link to comment
cameleyes
I've just started putting some dims on and now they have opened on their own - for which I'm happy but don't quite understand. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Judah Warshaw Posted January 13, 2009 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 13, 2009 (edited) Just to help you out: In top/plan the doors will always be open. You are seeing the 2D representation. In all other views, which are 3D, the doors will be open or closed based on your selection. It you look at the Object Info palette, you will find a checkbox marked Show 3D Open. This option is also available in the Door settings dialog under the View tab. If you really want to see the door closed in Top/Plan, you can set the Angle value that is right underneath Show 3D Open to 0. Edited January 13, 2009 by Judah Warshaw Quote Link to comment
