bonus
How does one edit the plan size of a roof? Just by redrawing? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
What type of roof? If you double click on the roof is there a polygon that you can edit? Quote Link to comment
bonus
Na, --polygone? -- It's one there allright, but just editable by the "edit roof settings" Can't find a way to edit the plan size of the roof itself. I created the roof (ordinary 2-slope)from a rectangle and this rectangle is still there. But editing this will not affect the roof. I can create a new roof from the edited rectangle but that's not good enough in a more complex roof situation. Now I'm just testing basic features. I want to be able to stretch the roof both left, right and in height. Not possible - right? Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
If the roof was created by "Create Roof" dialog (not a roof face), it can be reshaped by using the 3D reshape tool by picking one of the blue nodes and pulling it out. If it's a Roof Face - double clicking takes you into Roof editing mode where you are basically editing a polygon by selecting one of the blue nodes Quote Link to comment
bonus
Silly me, as the brittish say... I'm in 3D and must use the 3D tool! When it's said, it's obvious. I tried with the ordinary 2D cursor... tanks! Quote Link to comment
