Don@Black Dog
I am trying to do a simple color overlay rendering of a sheet layer viewport. The base viewport is a line in sketch mode. I know there were suggestions a while back for using an overlay viewport to do this but can't find the. Any kind person witha suggestion on doing this? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Duplicate the viewport in place and apply your color rendering settings to the new viewport. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Now that I think about it, VW 2008 now has Backround and Foreground render settings in the OIP. Make your sketch mode rendering the Foreground and your color rendering the Background. Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Good point. I will mess around with that. I had the viewport set to black and white so I did not get layer class colors, which negated the shading of a polygon, but I could revert the overlay viewport to full color.. Thanks. D Wood
Another trick is to select all the classes in the front Viewport via the OIP menu and make the line colour a shade of grey - this can sharpen up the edges without the heaviness of a black line. Quote Link to comment
