HELP w/ Logitech Mouse

Hello all, just wondering if anyone out there can help me w/ a persistent problem I'm having w/ a newly acquired "MX 400 Laser Mouse" by Logitech.

I'm currently on VectorWorks 9.5 Architect, (A bit on the vintage side but gets the job done), on a Dell Vostro 1700.

The problem: The scroll wheel will not allow me to zoom in and out, and unable to pan also. I've had this problem before w/ other mice and was unable to figure it out. I know there's a solution because I got it to work about 4 years ago on a different Logitech mouse. I've recently installed "uberoptions" to replace the Setpoint from Logitech. Still can't figure it out.

I've adjusted VW Preferences w/ no luck also. Mouse works fine in AutoCAD.

All help is much appreciated.

Were you able to zoom with a scroll wheel before? I'm not sure v9 supports zooming with the scroll wheel.

Hi Ray, thanks for the response. Yes I could zoom in/out and pan w/ the scroll wheel. I can't recall which model Logitech I had at the time, but it was wireless and had a few programmable buttons. The current mouse I have is very similar. The other person in the office didn't have any problems w/ his mouse, not sure what mouse he was using. It's almost like VW does not recognize the scroll wheel.

Looks like "steermouse" will not solve the prob. Not on a Mac system.
