printing from vw different to pdf

hi. hope you can help...

i created a pdf from vectorworks

there are 4 intensities of red fill

when I print from preview, the 4 fills are apparent

when I print from acrobat, it comes out as 1 colour

any ideas why this may be?

Unless you have calibrated your printer and monitor, what you see on screen will not be what you get on paper.

There are fundimental differences between how colors are produced using light and dyes.
