C W
In recent weeks I have been experimenting with 3D modeling capabilities in VW2008. Worth mentioning perhaps, since my fully licensed version does not have RenderWorks, I am currently working on a trial version that I uploaded on Tuesday just to see what you gain with RenderWorks. The test project is a simple 5,000 sf home with a basic drawing setup. Overall, I've been really pleased with the programs capabilities, but I'm continually crashing... yesterday alone some 10 times. The crashes are occurring during any number of operations; saving, updating viewports, panning, etc. My question is, is this simply a matter of my lacking in hardware power? I mean, this is a small project and I can't imagine moving forward on to something larger based on this test run. Or is there maybe a certain approach you must take when 3D modeling to avoid these issues? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
First thing to try is to update your video drivers. What video card do you have and what is the version of the drivers? Quote Link to comment
