Dieter @ DWorks
When making a section viewport, you'll automaticly have a section line. this section line has the text in the markers off position. the marker below has it's text above the center of the marker and the marker above has it's text below the center of the marker. How can I fix this? Or is this meant to be? Another issue with the section line is that it doesn't show op in viewports. It's class and layer is turned on in the viewport. Can someone give me more advice on this? Possible solutions? How to work with section lines? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted November 29, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 29, 2007 The position of the text in the section marker is controlled using a control point (AKA grip). Use the control point to adjust the text. Check that the "None" class is visible. The section marker should display. Quote Link to comment
Taproot
Regarding the section line - if it's actually a section line linked to a section viewport, you have to go to that section viewport and in the OIP for the viewport, select what layers and viewports you want the instance of the section line to appear in. Dieter @ DWorks
thx Taproot, that worked. to Katie: when I try to edit the section line I do see 2 selection handles, one for the marker and one for the text. The problem is that I only can grab the one for the marker. The one for the text I can't grab and reposition. Is there some thing that needs to be done before I can do this? Quote Link to comment
