Thom
At Vectorfest, there was a demonstration working with the various types of records, worksheets, etc. One thing that was used was a method of recording open spaces such as the total sq. ft. of putting greens. Was the tool used to define the putting green size the space tool in Architect? thks Quote Link to comment
Guest
Yep - the space planning tool. Quote Link to comment
Petri
Polygons/polylines, possibly in classes, will do the job just as well. A worksheet will report them quite nicely - you don't have to shoot a squirrel with an elephant gun. Quote Link to comment
Guest
The space planning tool uses the paint bucket fill mode to quickly generate spaces for existing structures, and reports the info on the drawing quickly. I will not dispute the polygon has its own role in this, too. But the space planning tool in 2008 is so awesome. Quote Link to comment
Petri
The polygon tool also uses the paint bucket... (The space planning tool belongs - surprisingly - to those that are awesomely useless in at least Finland.) Quote Link to comment
