Richard T
I have created a custom titleblock just fine and got it to attach properly to a drawing border, but in the process most of the elements have lost their symbology, ie red and grey lines and text are showing up as black/white. Can somebody please tell me how to get this working so the titleblock retains the symbology in the symbol I created? Thanks, Quote Link to comment
Taproot
Richard, Try grouping your custom objects together before leaving the titleblock symbol. Otherwise, I believe the class style of the symbol overrides their attributes. Quote Link to comment
Cris with no H
Grouping won't really help. To make individual objects in the titleblock symbol take on the attritutes set on the Drawing Border Object, they must be assigned to use class attributes. To prevent objects from changing, simply assign them (lines, text, whatever) to simple fills and pens with no "by class" arrow badging anything. I keep a few items by class...mainly revision notes and the box around them. When I have a revision, I set my Drawing Border to use a red pen - presto, only the revisions get highlighted. Richard T
That seemed to work, thankyou. Except for most of the red text which comes through looking like it's got a yellow border or something, refer to the attached files. Quote Link to comment
