Hugo
Is there any way to set as default the "Full break with caps" option when inserting doors and windows into walls? Thank you. Edited August 27, 2007 by Hugo Quote Link to comment
PeterT
One way is to make a symbol of the Plug-in object. Insert a plug-in object in your drawing and choose "Create Symbol" form the Modify menu. Click the "Options" button in the Create Symbol dialog, and in the insertion options dialog that opens, set the Wall Breaks to "Full Breaks With Caps". If you then Check the box for "Convert to Plug-in Object", when the plug-in symbol is inserted, it will convert back to a plug-in object with your desired wall breaks. I also find this useful to set up a plug-in symbol of each type of window or door that you typically use, so that the parameters for that specfiic type are saved in the symbol and you do not have to fill out a laborious five tabbed dialog box every time you want to insert a different type. Once inserted, it is no longer a symbol, and can be modified on the OIP just like any other plug-in. Quote Link to comment
