SRL
Maybe there something I'm not getting but no matter what DPI I set for the viewport the results are horrible! I see that there is a lot of mention in the forum about rendering in a viewport, so I am thinking I may be missing something. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Which rendering mode are you using? What DPI setting are you using? Quote Link to comment
SRL
I have tried up to 500dpi which chokes the computer. getting bad results at 300dpi. When I export an image I use 500dpi and get nice results sometimes takes 2 hours to export a render using an HDRI background. Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
what scale are you using? if you have a little picture, you will get a bad render. Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
You really should be able to get very decent results at as low as 150 dpi. It really depends on which rendering mode you are using, how your textures have been created and how your lighting is set up. Quote Link to comment
