Thom
My stat's are listed below. I find when working on large landscape dwg., after I have placed several hundred symbols that my machine comes to a screeching halt or at least slow down. Watching my task manager does not help. My CPU runs about 50%, my committed memory is about 40 -60%. Is the bottle neck the video card memory. Any suggestions. thks Quote Link to comment
Jodyb17
Could be. What are you using for video? I know your RAM is only running 40-60% but I would recommend another gig if you're running XP Pro. Edited March 28, 2007 by Jodyb17 Quote Link to comment

Guest
What other programs do you run alongside VW? Quote Link to comment
Thom
None other than MS Outlook Quote Link to comment
Guest
How large are the VW files? Are you including 3D definitions to the plants? Are you using Image Props? Quote Link to comment
Thom
No 3D definitions or image props. 40 meg file size. I try to use simple shapes for my symbols, but for drillls, I looked at one of the more "relative term" complex symbols and changed it to something slightly more simple. Seems to have cleared up the problem. Quote Link to comment
