Hunter B
Does anybody know how to round the corners of anextruded polygon. I've tried to use the Planer caps tool to create the shape I want but can't seem to get it to work so... i figured I try to get the shape in a different way. I figured that I'd just use the extruded polygon tool. But the corners I want to round over, don't. I know I can add solids but this would be a LOT more complicated. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Biplab Posted October 31, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 31, 2002 You can fillet the vertical edges of the extruded polygon by using the Blend Edges Tool. Create Planar Caps is for creating a planar surface that is missing from a solid - let's say you draw a rectangle and set the fill to None - extrude that - you would get an open solid. You could create the top and bottom caps for the extrude by Create Planar Caps. Quote Link to comment
