Filleting a extruded rectangle

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know how to round the corners of anextruded polygon. I've tried to use the Planer caps tool to create the shape I want but can't seem to get it to work so... i figured I try to get the shape in a different way. I figured that I'd just use the extruded polygon tool. But the corners I want to round over, don't. I know I can add solids but this would be a LOT more complicated.

You can fillet the vertical edges of the extruded polygon by using the Blend Edges Tool. Create Planar Caps is for creating a planar surface that is missing from a solid - let's say you draw a rectangle and set the fill to None - extrude that - you would get an open solid. You could create the top and bottom caps for the extrude by Create Planar Caps.
