Printer Jam on HP3300

Hi, Everyone;

In our office we have one workstation connected to an HP3300 printer. Everytime the user tries to print a file in Vector Works on this printer it jams. The printer is able to print any other file type without problem. The printer jams on any size vector works file from one that is a few KB to one that is many MB.

We are running VW 11.5. Any ideas? I am certainly out of them.

When you suggest it jams the printer, is it that the paper itself gets jammed, that nothing happens, or you get an error message displaying on the display screen ?

Please be as specific as possible.

Also include OS and printer driver information

Hi, Katie;

The paper physically jams. We can make the VW file into a PDF and it will print just fine. The printer doesn't jam with any other files, just every VW file.

It's on an XP-64 machine with HP Print and Scan Drivers, 7.0.1.
