mdarch
is it possible to lock an object at the back? I know you can send it to the back, and then lock it, but any new objects then sent to the back end up behind it. I'd like to be able to lock an object so it was permanently at the back so when new objects are created that need to be behind everything else except the back one they can be sent there without disappearing. Presently i can have to go thru several objects sending them to the back to get the right order. I know I can send backward, but with many objects created in the meantime it can take ages to get to the right position. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
I don't think you can do that but you could put it on another layer and achieve the same results. Quote Link to comment
jan15
The other-layer idea that Ray suggested is the easiest. But if for some reason you can't do that, you could use a combination of Send-to-Back and then Send-Forward for all subsequent objects that you send to the back. That combination will leave each new object one position in front of the very back, reserving the very back position for the one you want there. Quote Link to comment
