Vectorscript for mode buttons

I wish for a vectorscript procedure to control the appropriate mode bar buttons for tools that have more than one mode. Perhaps use an integer value of 1 for on, 2 for off, 3 for 3rd position, 4 for 4th position, etc., if neither on or off. Ignore preference buttons.

There is a customization in VW for this...

open your 'Workspace Editor' in the file menu.

click on 'Misc. Keys'

Select the keys you wish to use for the mode groups 1-6..... I use 1,2,3,4,5,6 for these as it is easy to remember.

Click ok and exit the editor.....

Excellent tip ... now how bout a Vectorscript Compiler App. similar to Visual Basic. Or better yet make a Vectorscript Compiler for Xcode2.3.

I'm sorry, but the pre-assigned keys of U, I, O, P, etc. are already there and they are still NOT VECTORSCRIPTS. If you're using the full power of scripting, you'll know how frustrating it is to have to reach manually and repeatedly for those keys when everything else is already set on the fly.
