Gytis Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 The Wall Tool uses hatches in Top/Plan view to illustrate wall components--I think it would be more work to create an appropriate and useable hatch than manually place studs ( which is also laborious). As a hatch it would definitely not show in a 3d model. I certainly understand the capability you are wanting, and would like it as well. Quote Link to comment
islandmon Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Creating a Hatch to show the spacing of studs is relatively easy to do. Creating hybrid 2d/3d stud symbols and placing them is also easy. A third way is to create an Image of the stud wall then assign it as a 3d texture or as a 2d image to walls. There is no solution that is ideal in all circumstances. Quote Link to comment
