hrm
Is there a way to make a class that is visible on screen but does not print? I could see this being used for construction lines or viewport windows. Turning the class to no-line is an option but I like to be able to see the linework or viewport crop window if possible. Like the defpoints layer for those from the AutoCAD world.... jan15
The closest thing to Defpoints that I know of is the Guides class, which is created automatically when you select one or more objects and then issue the Make Guides command. It's not a non-print class, but you can issue the Hide Guides command before printing, and the Show Guides command after. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
With the new Sheets layers you can make a class invisible on the Sheet (= ACAD layout) that is visible in your Design layer (= Model space). Other than the guides mentioned by jan15, that's the best you can do in VW, which is pretty much based on the WYSIWYG system. Quote Link to comment
