Creating a Custom Symbol

I would like to create a custom symbol with a boolean in it. Preferably a checkbox that would go below the position and rotation in the Obj Info box. When the boolean is TRUE, the text in that instance of the symbol is grayed out. When it is FALSE it is Black.
