Distiller Range Check

Question

Hi,

When I try to print to Adobe PDF from Vectorworks 11.5.1 using Distiller 7.0 I do not get a .pdf file. Instead i get a notepad error log telling me that:

[ Error: rangecheck; OffendingCommand: endcidrange ]

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

With a whole bunch numbers and symbols in paranthesees in between. This post won't allow me to copy and paste it into.

Does any know how to fix this issue?

Dana

I get this exact same error message.

I'm using 12.0.1, & Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0.7

If anyone has any advice, I'm sure we'd love to hear it!

Come to find out, it was the font I was using. Check what fonts you are using and if any of them are Unicode fonts, change them. That's what my problem was, unicode fonts, adobe doesn't like unicode.
