Having upgraded to an iMac running OS10.2.6, I am really disappointed with the print quality of the architectural drawings I now get from my Epson 1160 (USB native connection). I have the latest (and only) driver Epson put out for OS10x. Compared to prints I got from my old Mac running OS8.5, the quality now is lousy - lines are fuzzy, angled lines are much thicker than horizontal or vertical lines of the same width. If I go to 1440dpi, the quality is a bit better, but still not as good as the old system, and it is then so ssslllooowww!!!
And I seem to have lost the ability to print in reverse order, which is a real pain.
Epson don't seem to be very concerned about either of these problems, there is vague talk that people in Japan may be working on it, but noone can tell me when or if there will be a fix. Great customer relations.

Is anyone else having similar problems?
