Layer transfer mode = overlay... how to print?

Question

I would like to be able to print a drawing with layers' transfer mode set to "overlay" as it appears on screen. From the macs in our office, it prints as if the transfer mode was set to "paint". From Windows, the layers print with the correct overlay. We are using an HP800PS. Is there some setting we can change to get the drawing to look right?

Hmm This is weird.

Post script printers cannot process transparnecy which is why it isn't printing on the mac. It shouldn't print on the windows machine either.

Are you positive all the overlay layers are printing correctly ?

Yes, they print correctly, but the windows machine isn't using a post script driver. So I guess that explains it. I'll have to see if there's a non-ps driver for the mac, but I don't think so.
