I've heard that some people hate the sounds, but I for one really find the "click" associated with cursor alignment useful. I'm so used to it if I turn it off my work is less efficient. VW also has a "boink" used when setting a datum, and the slurping sounds of the eyedropper tool (very amusing) - stangely it is the only other tool to have a sound. I think it would be great to extend the concept to have more sounds and to be able to individually match them to various cursor clues.
Why not have a user definable sound set, that can be applied and adapted as the user desires?
At the very least I'd like to see the sound level in Vectorworks separately settable from the system level, so I can listen to music (iTunes) and have the sound in balance. The VW sounds are too loud at the moment.
