To add new classes it would be great to have a "add new class" option on the Object Info palette when you click on the arrows that the diplay the object's current class. (and layers too) Sometimes I want an object on a class and when I go to change the objects attributes, I realize I don't have that class in the file file yet.
On a different subject:
I would like for layers when added from my standards to retain the scale that they are in the standard file. Example: when I add the 3/4" layer, I should not have to then edit the scale to 3/4". Classes currently retain their attributes when added from a standards file, why not layers?
