Collaborating with a friend on a project, I am using a M1 Mac on OSX Ventura, he is using a PC. We are both running the latest version of VW 2024, using project sharing via a project file in Dropbox.
We have been running into some trouble with project sharing - it would work well for a couple of days or hours, and suddenly in my working file I can start to move / modify objects without VW prompting me to check out the object. The objects would not be checked out after I modify/move it. When I try to commit the changes, VW suggests "no changes to commit". The only way we found that can solve the problem temporarily is saving as a vwx with a new name and resetting project sharing.
This is causing us a big headache in the process and we would love to hear possible causes/solutions.

Hoping to get some help on this-

More details:
1/ VW Backup for the project file is turned off
2/ File sharing is set up using SMB
3/ "Safe Save" is on
