I'm making this a very brief wishlist item because I don't believe there's actually any likelihood of it being addressed until the window tool gets rebuilt.
At present, VW can't draw windows properly in plan; at least, not according to the architectural drawing conventions that I am familiar with.
The problems are discussed in more detail in this thread and are to do with a lack of control over lineweight and fill for the various parts of a window when its 2d component is shown (in top/plan or horizontal section viewports).
