Single click to add point on Polyline

The information for the Add Vertex Mode isn't accurate.

You need to click>drag>click to add a new vertex.

 

However, I'd prefer if you could simply click once anywhere along the Polyline to add a point right there. Much like you can use the Split tool in Point Split mode.
