Glen
Hi Everyone, I am having an issue where the Section-Elevation Line is correctly showing on the design layer of the plan, but it is not showing on the sheet layer where the view port of the plan is. I decided to create a new file with no new classes and 1 layer to try and troubleshoot this issue. I am getting the same result. I read through the threads that have previously been corrected by changes classes/ using section line instance activation. When I am on the floor plan and use the Section-Elevation Line command to create an elevation on an elevation sheet layer. The Section-Elevation Line instance appears on the design layer correctly. I then create a viewport to a new floor plan sheet layer, and the section-elevation line disappears. I have uploaded the test file which has 1 design layer, and default 2 classes. I have 2 sheet layers: Elevation and Floor Plan Any help on this is appreciated! Glen Bell Mac Studio M1 Max - Mac OS Monterey VW 2022 SP6 VW22SP6Section-ElevationLine.vwx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Select the Viewport. Bottom of the OIP is a button labeled Section Line Instances. From there you can choose which Design Layers and which Viewports the Section Line will show in. Quote Link to comment
Glen
Thank you Pat. I see the Viewports tab on the line instances dialog. It works now. Total rookie mistake. I had been looking for sheet layers. Thank you for your reply! Quote Link to comment
