Jim_Allen
When I open an VW 8.5 plot all the labels are in the correct position around the instrument. Then I convert it to SP 8.5, and now 9 and all the labels are moved and messed up ??? Quote Link to comment

With all that converting it may have just gotten a litle confused and need a little tweaking. Jim_Allen
Again i don't understand if it is a program you guys are creating it should mess up the labels from a program you also created. It is a lot of work to go through a 300 unit plot and correct the labels. Especially if i have the instruments oriented 4 different ways. Why don't you fix it so it won't mess the labels up!! Can you describe your migration process a little further for me. Did you start with the theatre lighting toolkit under VW 8.52? Did you use the SpotLight 8.52 menu command to convert a plot from 8.52 or did you use another method? Did your labels transistion correctly from VW 8.52 to SpotLight 8.52? Does merely opening your SpotLight 8.52 file in SpotLight 9.01 cause your labels to shift? Do you know if your user origin has been moved at some point? I'm not trying to pick on you with these questions I 'm just trying to see where the error was introduced into the process so that we can fix it. It is prefectly reasonable to expect the information to move forward without error and certainly without corruption. If you could also e-mail me all three of your files (VW 8.52, SpotLight 8.52, SpotLight 9.01) so that I can do some testing It would greatly speed up discovery of any underlying problems.
