I am seeing something weird, and I don't think it's just me or the custom symbols I am using. If I add a TV object using the default Spotlight tool, the TV object is placed with a Z height (even when dropped from plan view). The Z height seems to be improperly looking at the "Height" screen parameter stored in the TV screen data in the symbol. This is something new happening for 2023 after moving resource files over. This is also happening when inserting the stock symbols as well, so I would not think that there has been a change to the tool and what the fields mean/do. Anyone else run in to this? It's minor, just having to correct the Z height, but it's bugging me.
Hello, I'm using the Television Tool to insert screens into various scenes... Specifically I'm after a 98" screen, which isn't part of the preset screens. How often do these get updated to reflect the current TV screen market? Is there anyway to insert a custom size screen? Or can someone suggest a way to modify, say, the 90" screen into a 98" screen? If you've got a 98" screen modelled, please share it if possible? many thanks, Ronan
Hi I am sure I have done this before, but can't seem to now. I have a 24" Television object (from Spotlight) and want to show it mounted in a plinth, leaning back at an angle. I go to a side view, Select the television, then the rotate tool, When I try and rotate it : In screen plane - nothing happens In screen aligned, I get the message "Hybrid objects can only be rotated in a plane parallel to the active layer plane. Would you like the working plane set to the active layer plane?" (Yes or no). Neither option helps. What am I missing?! Thanks, Andrew
