  1. I am having issues with aligning Surface Hatches with Renderworks Textures in Vw2025 Update 7. I searched the forums for previous threads about this, but they were from 2018 and were regarding 'Use World Origin' not being selected -- which is not the issue here. Simple 6" Lap siding texture and hatch. Siding Texture is 18" high, so it covers three boards; Horizontal lines in Hatch are offset 6". Use World Origin is selected for all of the Walls. Textures are assigned to the components of the Wall Styles. CORRECT Render but INCORRECT Alignment in Preview In Edit RW Texture -> Edit Surface Hatch... if I leave Set Hatch Alignment X&Y Offset both at ZERO -- knowing that my Hatch and Texture are both properly sized -- the Preview Image is WRONG, but it is CORRECT in SLVPs with RW background and HL Foreground. The surface hatch is aligned with the RW texture. INCORRECT Render but CORRECT Alignment in Preview If I correct the X&Y Offset so it looks correct in the Preview, it will NOT be correct in SLVPs with RW background and HL Foreground. The surface hatch is NOT aligned with the RW texture. [Note that in the Y Offset I put 3-1/2" so it looks 'correct' in the Preview, which looks even worse on the SLVP.] Point of all this is that the Surface Hatch Preview image is NOT helpful in the alignment of texture with hatches on Walls. Has anyone else had trouble with this? Seem like a bug? Vw2025 version sample file attached. Thanks. siding surface hatch test v2025.vwx
  2. Hello, I'm having trouble with a few display issues in my hidden line elevations. These seem to only show up in hidden line render mode, not in OpenGL (I've attached a PDF of both to illustrate the issues). Issue #1 : The surface hatch of the siding is missing on part of the elevation (PDF attached). The wall itself is continuous, but the texture is getting interrupted for some reason (shown in pink in attached PDF) Issue #2: window IDs - the window ID text is missing from the East and some South windows. The ID hexagon is there, but the text is missing (shown in green in attached PDF). I checked and the ID text class is turned on. The second window ID issue is that some window IDs from the opposite side of the building "ghosts" through the building (shown in cyan in attached PDF). Any idea what might be causing these issues in hidden line render mode? Thanks! Elevation window ID issue_OpenGL.pdf Elevation window ID issue.pdf
  3. Vectorworks Community! I need some help with surface hatches. I have a brick texture on some of my buildings and have amended the surface hatch so that it appears lighter in 'Hidden Line' render settings (see attached image). The problem is when I create an elevation viewport the surface hatch appears really dark in the 'hidden line' render settings (see attached image). What settings do I need to change to correct this? TIA.
  4. Hi What is the correct way to align the surface hatch on a wall that is above another wall? Thanks
  5. Can't figure out why surface hatch is not showing in my drawing ( hidden line render) does surface hatch work on tiles ? room_sample.vwx
