  1. Hello, Is there a way to show today's date in worksheet cell with spreadsheet setup? We are using this functions: =FORMATFIELD('Title Block Project Data'; '...') to get some data from title block border ... but would be great if we could add today's date too .... to the header of the worksheet layout with list of drawings (database part) as a main part of worksheet. I guess it doesn't have to be connected to title block border data, but all we need to get today's date displayed + so that it automatically updates to correct date. Any help much appreciated.
  2. Hi vw community, I hit my limits to find reason why my worksheet (spreadsheet setup) is working perfectly fine in blank file (with only one slab style and worksheet itself) but have real struggle to recalculate in file with model - building in it (many layers, viewports ...etc). Takes 10-15 minutes! I attach one screenshot with shown and described formula structure and other with look of desired result. Core criteria is vsel=true, so I basically select any slab that has slab style and while worksheet opened hit 'recalculate active worksheet' and get all information about individual components and result of object as a whole. There must be something ill with formulae...but I dont know what. I have noticed that whenever i import worksheet to any full project file, worksheet for some reason picks up some very high componentthicknessvalue for component no.1...? (3945 mm or similiar). It doesnt happen in blank file.... Would appreciate your time and help as I cant seem to resolve it. I will be willing to share worksheet if needed. Thanks in advance.
  3. Is there a way to summarise items / sort items in a worksheet in which the data is imported from an excel spreadsheet, rather than created from the drawing as a database? When I'm trying this, the sort / summarise / sum items all appear to be greyed out.
  4. Hi I have a mesh, freely oriented in the space. I set a working plane in the needed orientation, then I Create Contours parallels to the X and Y axis on the mesh, obtaining NURBS curves. Then with Analysis menu I place a 3D Locus at each crossing point of X and Y contours, naming it and in an orderly way. At this point I would populate a Spreadsheet with the coordinates of each 3D Loci. I can observe that on Object Info palette, clicking on WP (purple WP icon) I get coordinates referred to the working plane. Now, if I create a database in a Worksheet row inserting the name, X, Y, Z I get always the Active WP (blue icon) coords. So, the question is: there is a way to tell to the formula inserted in Worksheet that I wish refer to the WP? Or I have to transform the coordinates to the WP Origin and Rotation? I attach an image of the Worksheet, the drawing and info palette showing the different values. Any help will be appreciated. Roberto Schermata 2020-01-10 alle 12.54.46.pdf
  5. I am trying to create a worksheet with multiple formulas in it. For this I need to be able to search different criteria in each column. The type is spaces. What is the order of the text I need to input into the cell to pick up with the criteria would do in a database row? I have looked through all of the following places and it is not very clear to a novice. http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:Function_Reference_Appendix#attrCrit http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:Search_Criteria#Search_Criteria_Format http://app-help.vectorworks.net/2016/eng/VW2016_Guide/Worksheets/Worksheet_Functions.htm Thanks!
